01What is ModsPoint?
A community where you discover game mods straight from their original creators. Every mod owner is a verified creator and every mod is approved by an admin before it goes live.
02Where do I download mods?
From the download button on the mod page. The file is usually on the creator's own site and the download button sends you there.
03Which games are supported?
BeamNG.drive, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Farming Simulator 25 / 22 / 19, Assetto Corsa, Grand Theft Auto V and Forza Horizon 2 / 3. See them all on the Games page; each game has its own categories.
04A mod doesn't work.
First check the game version and the changelog on the mod page; mods can break after a game update. Also check required add-ons and the install path. Step by step: help center.
05Are the files safe?
Uploaded files go through a security check, but a file may sit on the creator's own site where we can't inspect it. Keep antivirus on, be careful with mods that ask you to run an .exe, and report anything suspicious with the flag icon.
06How do I upload a mod?
You need to be a verified creator: apply with a profile, short bio and links showing your work (YouTube, your mod site, Instagram, TikTok…). Your mod goes live after an admin approves it.
07Can I import my mods from ModHub, itch.io, Steam Workshop or GitHub?
Yes, as a verified creator, from the Connections page. For ModHub paste your profile link; for itch.io press “Connect with itch.io”; for Steam Workshop press “Sign in through Steam”; for GitHub give your profile link and add your ModsPoint page address to the Website/Bio field of your GitHub profile. Then pick the mods you want to add. Mods you update on ModHub, Steam or GitHub update here automatically; connect your YouTube channel and videos that name your mod are added to its page. Imported mods go live after admin approval, and the download button always points to your own itch or ModHub page.
The itch connection is one-time: ModsPoint only reads your project list and the access is revoked right away. Steam sign-in only returns your Steam ID to us. We never see or store any password or key, and we cannot change anything on those accounts.
08How do I see which of my mods have updates?
On Check my mods pick the game and your mods folder. Your browser reads only each mod's name and version; your files never leave your computer. We show which mods have updates and which required mods are missing. Pick “My version” on a game page to hide mods that won't run on your game version.
09Why was my mod rejected?
The reason is shown under “My mods” (stolen content, missing description, broken file, inappropriate image…). Fix it and resubmit.
10How do I announce a mod update?
Add a new version on the mod's page, write the changelog and select the supported game versions.
11Someone stole a mod, what do I do?
Report it with the flag icon on the mod page. If upheld the mod is removed and the creator gets a warning; three warnings suspend the account. Rights holders: see the copyright page. A creator who believes a removal was wrong can file a counter-notice.
12I want to advertise.
Ad slots are open to verified creators. Apply on the Advertise page; if approved we send payment details and the ad goes live after payment.
13Who can see my messages?
Private messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation. Admins do not read conversations.
14Is my account safe? Is there two-step verification?
Yes; turn on optional two-step verification on the Security page. Choose a strong password you don't use elsewhere.
15How do I delete my account?
Write via the contact form. Your profile, posts, comments and messages are permanently erased.
16I found a bug / have a suggestion.
Use the contact form. Tell us the page and what happened and we fix it fast; suggestions are really read.
